Join the Fort Myers Beach Coast Guard Auxiliary![]() Volunteer ... be a part of the team! The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is divided into Districts, Divisions and Flotilla's with the Flotilla being your local organization. If you enjoy the boating community and helping others you will find plenty to do - Boating Safety Program Instructor; Vessel Safety Examiner; Environmental Protection; Operations and search and rescue. If you don't have the time to volunteer, there are other ways to demonstrate your commitment to boating safety. First and foremost by setting the example by wearing your PFD and being stewards of the water. Secondly, by financial contribution to help keep our programs moving. Become an associate member of the Coast Guard Auxilairy Association. You can also help promote boating safety education by posting class schedules at your place of employment or in your company newsletter. These simple things can have a positive impact upon recreational boating.
