Tip of the day:
Today's boaters have all kinds of neat computer navigation equiment on board. Do you know how to navigate if there is a power surge, blown fuse or equipment malfuction? Charts and compass should not be optional equipment. If you do not know how read them you should take a course in coastal navigation. You don't need to be an expert, but it sure will help if you get into trouble!
